Mayor Announces Deputy Mayor and Director of Constituent Services
INDIANAPOLIS (January 28, 2008) – Today, Mayor Ballard announced the appointment of Deputy Mayor, Nicholas Weber and Director of Constituent Services, Sarah Taylor.
Weber was previously the Vice-President of Outreach and Communications for Conexus Indiana (October 2007 – January 2008). Among other accomplishments, Weber assisted in developing statewide rollout of outreach efforts to attract more 16 to 26 year-olds to careers in advanced manufacturing and logistics. Weber is also the former Special Assistant to U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar (January – October 2007).
Taylor was previously the Principal/Consultant for eGOV Partners, Inc (August 2006 – January 2008). Taylor served as a consultant for government information technology projects. Among other accomplishments, Taylor worked with women owned business sub contracting to Ball State University Bowen Center for Public Affairs on a national grant to study the major shift away from traditional polling places to the implementation of vote centers. Taylor also served as Clerk of the Marion Circuit Court (January 1995 – December 2002).
