Mayor to help break ground on Cultural Trail
Community leaders gather to begin construction, announce progress on trail fund raising efforts INDIANAPOLIS – Mayor Bart Peterson will join community leaders to break ground on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.
In addition to the ceremonial start of construction, officials will also announce progress on the fund raising efforts and public art selection.
When: Wednesday, April 25
11 a.m.
Where: The southeast corner of Alabama and North streets
The Cultural Trail will be a unique, world-class urban bike and pedestrian path that will connect all six Indianapolis cultural districts and bring users to the front door of many of the city’s arts, cultural, sports and entertainment venues.
