Mayor, Sheriff to announce installation of 100 new street lights TODAY
New lights aimed at keeping neighborhoods well-lit, safe
INDIANAPOLIS – Mayor Bart Peterson will join Sheriff Frank Anderson, Department of Public Works Director Kumar Menon and community leaders to announce the installation of 100 new street lights in neighborhoods.

WHERE: Brookside Elementary School (IPS School 54),
3150 E. 10th Street
(Press Conference will be behind school near 11th Street and Oakland)
Locations for the 100 new street lights were based on analysis of crime trend data and input from residents, police and community leaders. The initiative focused on putting lights up in neighborhoods facing challenges with crime.
