Mayor, Community to Celebrate the ‘Grand Re-Opening’ of 38th Street
Indianapolis – Please join Mayor Peterson and community leaders today, Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the North United Methodist Church as they celebrate the completion of the 38th Street Improvement Project, a $28.3 million investment in the city’s infrastructure along 38th Street from I-65 to Fall Creek Parkway.
Work to upgrade and improve this stretch of 38th Street began in the spring of 2003 and the final phase of the project was completed just last week.
