Mayor to announce ‘Go Blue Weekend,’ other festivities to gear up for city’s first AFC Championship game
Indianapolis – Mayor Bart Peterson and other local leaders will hold a media availability to discuss plans to showcase Indianapolis during this weekend’s AFC Championship, the first in the city’s NFL history.
Mayor Peterson also will declare the rest of the week “Go Blue Weekend” in Indianapolis and encourage all of Indianapolis to gear up for the championship game against the New England Patriots.

Where:RCA Dome, inside Gate 1
TV trucks cannot park in the RCA Dome/Convention Center driveway at Capitol & Georgia Streets, but parking is available along Capitol.
The city is working with Indianapolis Downtown Inc., Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association, Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority & Indianapolis Airport Authority/BAA Indianapolis and others to cloak itself in Colts blue downtown and throughout the city.
