Indianapolis – Below is a list of Mayor Bart Peterson and Deputy Mayor Steve Campbell’s public events for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 15. The schedule is subject to change!
Mayor Peterson’s Schedule:
10:30 a.m. Speak at WESCO/Westside Weed & Seed MLK event. Where: George Washington Community School, 2215 W. Washington St.
11:15 a.m. Speak at the Indiana Christian Leadership Conference MLK event. Where: Martin University, 2171 Avondale Place.
Deputy Mayor Campbell’s Schedule:
9 a.m. Speak at the IMA 2nd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration. Where: Indiana Museum of Art, 4000 Michigan Road.
12 p.m. Participate in the Madame Walker Theater Freedom Walk and program. Where: The walk begins at the Indianapolis Urban League, 777 Indiana Avenue, and ends at the Madame Walker Theater, 617 Indiana Avenue.
