Mayor to launch Community Crime Prevention Task Force
INDIANAPOLIS – Mayor Bart Peterson will join City-County Council President Monroe Gray, community and government leaders and public safety officials to launch the Community Crime Prevention Task Force, a blue-ribbon panel organized by The Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee aimed at studying the root causes of crime and recommending strategies to address those causes.
When: Monday, August 28
10 – 10:30 a.m.
Where: Mayor’s Conference Room
City County Building
200 E. Washington St.
The members of the task will be named and the goals of the task force will be announced.
