Mayor, LISC to kick-off revitalization effort for two more commercial corridors
Officials to announce new investment in currently vacant commercial building along Meridian
Indianapolis - Mayor Bart Peterson and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) will kick-off a new revitalization effort for two commercial corridors along North Meridian Street and East Washington Street.
The event will be held at the site of a now vacant commercial building, which will soon see a major investment from a local restaurant planning to relocate along North Meridian.

Where: 2330 N. Meridian Street
The effort to bring new investment and jobs to neighborhood corridors is part of the urban commercial corridor revitalization program known as FOCUS.
FOCUS, an innovative partnership of LISC, the City of Indianapolis, the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and the Indianapolis Coalition for Neighborhood Development, provides neighborhood organizations with financial and technical support for economic development and commercial real estate.
