Corporation Counsel to take customer service calls in the Mayor’s Action Center today
Kobi Wright is seventh city leader to take calls in order to better understand the system, suggest improvements
INDIANAPOLIS - Corporation Counsel Kobi Wright will be on the front line of city government today as he takes calls in the Mayor’s Action Center (MAC), a part of the city’s "Customer Service Representative of the Week" effort.
Once a week for the remainder of 2006, leaders in city government will take calls for an hour in the MAC, allowing them to be introduced to all the reasons for which residents call the MAC and making them more knowledgeable about the needs of Indianapolis residents.

The MAC is the one-stop call center for questions, concerns and service requests from city government. Common calls include potholes, animal complaints, and trash pickup.
New technologies and business practices have cut the wait time down to 90 seconds on average. The MAC received 247,418 calls last year. Further improvements, including better tracking and better electronic access, are in development.
