Mayor Peterson, Governor Daniels to Discuss Property Tax Reform and Fiscal Flexibility Tomorrow
Indianapolis - Mayor Bart Peterson and Governor Mitch Daniels will speak at a press conference tomorrow to discuss property tax reform, fiscal flexibility and local government efficiency.

The Indiana General Assembly is considering legislation to reduce property taxes that would be devastating to cities and towns. IACT supports a long-term, comprehensive approach to property tax reform that provides fiscal flexibility and accountability for local government.
The press conference follows IACT testimony in the Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy committee, which begins at 9 a.m. Bluffton Mayor Ted Ellis and Greenwood Mayor Charles Henderson will testify on behalf of IACT.
Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson is the current president of the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. Municipal officials from around Indiana will attend.
