Mayor to meet with Department of Public Works employees in conjunction with MLK observation
INDIANAPOLIS - Mayor Bart Peterson will meet with employees of the Solid Waste Division of the Indianapolis Department of Public Works to thank them for their work. Peterson is meeting with the employees on the day the city will hold a ceremony honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King spoke to striking sanitation workers in Memphis, TN on the day before his assassination there.
