INDIANAPOLIS - Mayor Bart Peterson’s office, the United Way of Central Indiana, the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis, Center Township Trustee Carl Drummer and a host of community, faith-based and social service agencies will meet today to discuss short- and long-term housing options and other basic services for victims of Hurricane Katrina who are relocated in Indianapolis.
WHEN: TODAY - Thursday, September 8; 2 p.m.
WHERE: United Way of Central Indiana, 3901 N. Meridian St.
Since last week, the city has been cataloging housing options for relocated victims who want to live in Indianapolis for the short-term or settle permanently.
