Mayor, state officials to announce new jobs, new tenant at Indianapolis International Airport
INDIANAPOLIS - Mayor Bart Peterson, state government officials, airport executives and private economic development leaders will announce that Transpoint LLC has leased a large portion of a cargo facility at the Indianapolis International Airport and plans to hire 251 workers.

Transpoint is a transportation, distribution and logistics company that will receive and distribute container freight by international and domestic air, rail and highways. It will be the first firm in Indianapolis to focus on the management of containers from Asia and will also offer customs services, container and cargo inspection pursuant to Homeland Security directives.
