Mayor to celebrate The Haelan Group's 10th anniversary, graduation from Emerging Technologies Center
INDIANAPOLIS - Mayor Bart Peterson will join The Haelan Group and staff from the Indiana University Emerging Technologies Center to celebrate The Haelan Group's 10th anniversary and its graduation from the center. The Haelan Group will be the first company to graduate from the center and move into the commercial business marketplace.
WHEN: TODAY, Wednesday, June 15, 2005 4 to 7 p.m. (Mayor Peterson will attend from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m.)
WHERE: IU Emerging Technologies Center 351 W. 10th St.
Part of The Haelan Group's anniversary celebration is recognition of its marketplace success. The company has enjoyed important growth milestones, including the tripling of its client base in the last six months, exponential revenue growth and the ability to deliver substantial first-year return on investment for two large employer clients. The Haelan Group has added 33 jobs to Central Indiana since its inception.
"The Haelan Group is one of Central Indiana's life sciences success stories," Mayor Peterson said. "Ten years ago, the small company began in the Emerging Technologies Center. Today, it has grown into a successful company, ready to leave the ETC and step out on its own."
The Haelan Group currently provides employers and health plans across the country with One Care Street, a predictive modeling/health coaching system that helps find high- and low-risk members and employees who require health information or one-on-one health coaching to improve health and avoid high-cost medical care.
