Local philanthropists to donate land to IndyParks; new park land will connect Holliday and Marott Parks

INDIANAPOLIS - Mayor Bart Peterson will join Indy Parks in a ceremony to accept a major land donation to the city's parks department. A gift to the Indianapolis Parks Foundation from local philanthropists - who prefer to remain anonymous prior to the ceremony - was designated for the purchase and donation of the four-acre parcel to Indy Parks with the stipulation that it be used as an outdoor environmental education destination for Indianapolis youth.
