Amy Peterson to make deliveries with Meals on Wheels
INDIANAPOLIS - Amy Minick Peterson will join local officials to make deliveries to Meals on Wheels clients.

WHERE: Crestwood Village Apartments (north off 91st Street between College & Westfield Blvd.)
First delivery at the home of Marjorie Morgan
9222 Garrison Drive, Building # 2, Apt. 107-D
Second delivery at the home of William Bruce
9225 Garrison Drive, Apt. 102
"It is a significant testament to the giving nature of the people who live in this city that more than 1,400 volunteers deliver meals to the homebound elderly and disabled," said Peterson. "I am thankful for what they do to make our community so liveable and hospitable, and I am honored to be here today to recognize them and their generosity."
Meals on Wheels organizes volunteer delivery of nutritious meals to homebound persons in the Indianapolis area. Meals on Wheels has delivered over 5 million meals in the Indianapolis area since 1971. Meals are physician regulated and prepared by 7 hospitals and 6 healthcare centers. Over 68% of Meals on Wheels clients require special diets.
