List of endorsements, editorials for Indianapolis Works growing
Support letters, editorials now online at www.IndianapolisWorks.com INDIANAPOLIS - The list of business leaders, business and community organizations and many others who have endorsed Indianapolis Works is now online at www.IndianapolisWorks.com, Mayor Bart Peterson said today.
Indianapolis Works is the proposal to reduce the size and cost of local government in Indianapolis and Marion County. The plan will save local taxpayers at least $35 million a year, provide more police patrols in Marion County townships and avoid layoffs of police officers, sheriff's deputies, firefighters and cutbacks in neighborhood and other services.
The booklet of "Editorials, Endorsements and Public Outreach" associated with Indianapolis Works includes editorials and endorsements from, among others:
