Mayor, United Water to announce new corporate division headquarters
New office to bring at least 25 management and professional positions to Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS - Mayor Bart Peterson will join United Water CEO Tony Harding and United Water COO J C Goldman, Jr. to announce the new United Water Contract Services Division locating in downtown Indianapolis. The new Indianapolis division, which will oversee management operations, will create 25 to 30 corporate jobs.

"I’m pleased United Water chose to locate one of its two U.S. divisions in Indianapolis," Mayor Peterson said. "Indianapolis is a great choice for businesses looking to grow and expand. And, our quality of life - from the city’s cultural districts to our vibrant downtown to our art and cultural institutions - continues to help attract high-paying jobs to our community."
United Water recently restructured and created two new divisions. The new Indianapolis division is the Contract Services Division. The other division, which manages the company’s regulated businesses, will remain headquartered in New Jersey.
"We are proud to be part of the Indianapolis community for the past 11 years," Harding said. "Locating our Contract Services Division in Indianapolis is a further extension of our commitment to providing life's most essential service to the residents of Indianapolis."
United Water, under the direction of the Department of Public Works, operates maintains, and manages the city’s two Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) facilities, storm and wastewater collection system and the Eagle Creek Dam.
