Race Relations

The Race Relations Leadership Network (RRLN) was established in 1995 as a vehicle by which racially and culturally charged issues could be appropriately and completely negotiated. The RRLN has brought together a diverse group of individuals who have worked to build trust between people of different races, cultures, and religions. The group also serves as a way for community leaders to receive credible and balanced information on race relations.

Under the leadership of current Co-Chairs Bud Myers and Sally Zweig, the Race Relations Leadership Network has continued the dialogue on the contemporary race relations issues and, where appropriate, has taken measurable, focused, and timely action on specific issues to effectively address those issues.

If you would like more information about the RRLN, please contact the GIPC office at (317) 327-3860 or vie email at macarter@indygov.org. Also, if you want to find information about other organizations committed to addressing issues of race relations and diversity as well as community events, please visit the RRLN event calendar.
