Access and Inclusion Awards
Come join us in celebration of the 18th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act at the Circle Centre Mall Artsgarden on Thursday, July 24, 2008 as we recognize individuals, businesses and organizations that promote equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in Indianapolis. The Access and Inclusion Awards celebration honors those who go above and beyond the Americans with Disabilities Act to advance the full participation of individuals with disabilities in our community in the areas of employment, accessibility and lifetime service. In addition to the awards ceremony, a resource fair with exhibit booths provides individuals the opportunity to learn more about resources available in the Indianapolis area for persons with disabilities and seniors.
The celebration is free and open to members of the public who wish to visit the exhibits and attend the awards ceremony. No reservation is required for individuals wishing to attend either portion of the celebration. Exhibits will open from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm, with the awards ceremony to take place at 11:30 am.
