Convention and Visitors Association
ICVA is the official tourism management organization for the capital metropolitan region and undertakes visitor marketing, sales, planning, research, servicing and attraction development with community partners in order to advance sustainable economic, cultural and environmental progress. The ICVA is charged with communicating the virtues of greater Indianapolis as an exciting destination for visitors through targeted and strategic focus, including: Product Development (strengthening the tourism infrastructure); Research and Planning (undertaking accountable destination planning); Marketing and Promotions (maximizing economic expenditures of visitors); Community Relations and Advocacy (strengthening the tourism workforce and increasing investment in ICVA); and Partnership Development and Team Building (establishing and expanding partnerships to increase visitor impacts and growing a productive tourism team).
