Arts Council of Indianapolis
The Arts Council is the community's local arts service organization. It serves as central Indiana's chief arts and cultural resource not only for artists and arts organizations, but also for government, business and educational institutions, neighborhood and community organizations, visitors and residents. A private, not-for-profit organization, the Arts Council provides public and private grants, marketing, technical assistance, information and referral and other services to the cultural community. It also allocates arts funding for the city of Indianapolis and serves as an information resource to the city, state and federal government agencies, patrons, business and industry, and to the general public regarding arts issues.
