What Kinds of Activities is the League Engaged In?
The League devotes significant time to the study of local issues. In recent years, the League has been studying the township government in Marion County, including their responsibilities, functions and budgets.
During election years, the League is very active in voter education and registration activities. In the fall of 2007, the League will hold several candidate forums for the upcoming City-County Council elections. The forums are taped and rebroadcast on WCTY channel 16.
