Copies of police case (incident) reports made in Marion County may be obtained through the Citizens' Services Desk in Suite E100 of Metro Police Headquarters at 50 North Alabama Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204, phone (317) 327-3591.

The office is open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Hundreds of police reports are made each day, so the more specific you can be in your request (providing the date, time, location, type of incident, names of people involved, etc.), the more likely it is the correct report will be found. If you have the case number or CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) number, please reference it. The cost of a police report is $0.04 per page.
