Copies of accident reports made by an IMPD officer may be obtained through the Citizens' Services Desk in Suite E100 of Police Headquarters at 50 North Alabama Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204, phone (317) 327-3591.
The office is open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The date, time, and location of the accident are required to retrieve a copy of the report. The investigating officer's name is optional, but helpful. The cost of an accident report is $5.00.
