Work for IMPD?
The Explorers also work details with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, assisting with a variety of requests. In the past, we have worked at the Pacers games and Indians games, assisting with pedestrian traffic control. We also have worked at the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard, and Formula 1 races, and the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Victim Impact Panels, FOP picnic, Credit Union Picnic, and State Fair to assist with parking. In addition, we have staffed a display booth at all district community days.
