Reginald R. (Black) Jordan and at least two of his friends were in a car parked on the lot of the liquor store at E. 38th Street and N. Arlington Avenue when, at approximately 8:33 P.M., Mr. Jordan became involved in an argument with the occupants of another car. At least one person from the other car fired several shots, striking Mr. Jordan in the right side. Mr. Jordan's friends fled the scene and drove to 2700 Massachusetts Avenue where they summoned medical assistance. Mr. Jordan died at the hospital.
