Jason Long was shot on April 4, 2004, at approximately 2045 hours at 4515 Norwaldo. He suffered on-going infections, dehydration, and pneumonia as a result of the injuries sustained in this incident. On May 4, 2005, he died of massive organ failure as a direct result of sepsis caused by the gunshot wound.
