Anthony Smith was found shot in an alley near 100 W. 36th Street at approximately 6:05 pm on December 3, 2004. He died a short time later at hospital. Two young black males were seen running from the scene. They got into a red mini-van with tinted windows that had been parked on N. Illinois Street. The van sped away northbound.
