Marion Superior Court Administrative Rules This Court has been established by the authority of the Indiana General Assembly pursuant to Ind.Code § 33-5.1-2-1. The Marion Superior Court shall consist of those 31 judges defined by statute and created effective January 1, 1996, and such other judges as the Indiana General Assembly may add to the Court.
Marion County Local Rules Approved Oct, 2006
On December 13, 2004, the Indiana Supreme Court Division of State Court Administration issued, and the Indiana Supreme Court approved, standards for the preparation of local court rules pursuant to Indiana Trial Rule 81. These standards, which include a schedule and format for preparation of local rules, took effect January 1, 2005, and all existing local rules must be compliant with these standards by January 1, 2007. The standards were first amended March 4, 2005, and were amended again on November 30, 2005.
