Pay by Automatic Debit with our Tax Payment Debit Option

With the TAX PAYMENT DEBIT OPTION the amount of your semi-annual Marion County property tax bill will be automatically deducted from your checking account. There is no parking problem, standing in line, writing checks, buying postage, or finding a mailbox -- we simply debit the bank account as requested by you.

Property taxes are normally due May 10 and November 10 each year. The Marion County Treasurer will send you a Bank Account Deduction Notice before each due date showing the usual tax-related information and the amount of the payment to be deducted from your checking account 3 (three) business days prior to the due date. If you receive anything other than a Bank Account Deduction Notice we will NOT deduct your payment and you will be responsible for making your payment by the due date.

You will have time to review your tax statement before the amount owed is deducted from your checking account. You will have time, up to five working days before the due date, to call the Marion County Treasurer if you have questions or need to request that your account not be debited.

Enrollment is easy, just read and agree to the following terms, then complete the form online or print it and mail it to the address below.

We must receive your Enrollment Form by December 4, 2008 to have you taxes deducted for the December 16th due date.

By filling out and submitting this form you are
