  • 9/17/09 - MCRCustomerService Email

We have experienced some issues with the MCRCustomerService Email recently due to some switch overs from IndyGov.Org to Indy.Gov. All links from our website should be operable now. Please re-send any emails that have been returned with an undeliverable status and we will respond as quickly as we are able. We are sorry for any unconveniences that may have been caused by this. The correct email address is:

MCRCustomerService@indygov.org

Frequently Asked Questions for LandShark:

  • Question: Does LandShark have the same information as the old Records Remotely Plus system?

Answer: LandShark should have the same information and all information that has been indexed since the change over. We are working to make sure all of that information is made appropriately available. If you have any issues please email us with specific details about your problem.

  • Question: Is the pricing for LandShark the same as the pricing for the old Records Remotely Plus system?

Answer: Yes the pricing and cost is the same.

  • Question: If I had Records Remotely Plus before LandShark am I able to use LandShark?

Answer: Yes. Your login username should be the same and your password is defaulted to "password". If you have any issues logging in please email us with your account information, the name of the company, and the former username and we will find a solution.

  • Question: I've never used Records Remotely Plus or LandShark. I've tried to login and/or I want a password or want one. Could you give me login information so that I may use your system?

Answer: LandShark is available if you have a contract with the Marion County Recorder's Office. To find out more information regarding this contract please review the Records Remotely Plus Service information at this link:

http://www.indy.gov/eGov/County/Recorder/Services/Pages/remote_plus.aspx

Once we get more responses we will dedicate a page just for FAQs regarding LandShark.

LandShark is live! Please review the LandShark User Guide in the User Guides and Help section to the right before using the system.

Your username will be the same as with the original Records Remotely Plus and your password will be: password

You can find instructions for changing your password in the LandShark User Guide.

** If searching using an instrument number you may have to use the full number such as 200000000111 instead of 2000-111.

  • 8/27/09

LandShark is estimated to go live on September 2, 2009.

  • 7/23/09

Are you one of the City/County agencies who use the Recorder's Index on the Mainframe? You need to upgrade to LandLink! Email us at MCROCustomerService@indy.gov to ask us how!

The User Guides and Help Section has been added to this MCRO IT page for quicker access to all guides and help.

  • 7/21/09

We have completed LandShark training.  We estimate LandShark will be introduced about this time next week.  We will update the website again when LandShark goes live and we will also update our Twitter account so that those signed up will be informed immediately. The LandShark User Guide is posted in the right side-bar of this page in the User Guides and Help section.

  • 6/29/09: Update

Remote users are certified up to 3/24/09. In office and LandLink users are up to 5/7/09 as of today.  When LandShark is made available remote users will match in office certification. We plan on releasing LandShark after the 7/21/09 training session.

  • 6/11/09: Software Status

LandLink: Address functionality has been improved, the Sewer Lien has been completed so our cert date has been moved forward and processing time has decreased.

Other Software Updates: We are working towards greater document accuracy. We do not have an ETA for when we will have LandShark functional.

  • 4/8/09: Mainframe and LandLink Discrepancy

Documents up to the date of 3/4/09 are available on the Mainframe, however, any documents afterwards are only available on the LandLink system.  ALL documents since 1964 are available on LandLink.  Updates are still being made to our new LandLink software.  We ask for your patience during this transition phase.

At this time, the Remote System Certification Date is only up to 3/4/09.  We are working feverishly to repair this issue.  An update will be made here when more information is available.

If you wish to come into the office to use the new system there is a guide above in the User Guides and Help section.

  • 4/8/09: Software Upgrade

In the future the Marion County Recorder’s Office will be undergoing continued software upgrades so that, in time, we will be completely removed from our legacy systems and will therefore be better able to serve you.  The installation of LandLink is part of this process.  In the future another piece of software called LandShark will be available, however, we are unable to give dates for when this will occur.  LandShark will be an upgrade to both the Public Inquiry system and Records Remotely Plus. LandLink is an update to our Document Management processes/software.  We ask your continued patience on this manner as transition phases are the hardest to go through.  An update will be made here when more information is available.  This is all of the information we have available at this time.
