The Marion County Public Defender Agency Investigators assist attorneys in the preparation of public defender cases. To that end, they assist attorneys in case development, locate and interview prospective witnesses, serve subpoenas, retrieve documents, contact clients, testify at trial, and assist attorneys in all states of the litigation process.
Our investigators are trained in criminal investigative techniques. If you have been contacted by one of our investigators regarding a pending case, please contact them as soon as possible. They are often called upon to produce evidence and/or results in a short period of time and your cooperation is appreciated.
