The Deposition Unit is responsible for recording, transcribing, and distributing depositions and taped statements for Public Defender attorneys. Each reporter keeps her own calendar and depositions are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Our reporters are certified court reporters who strive to provide accurate and timely transcripts of witness statements for the Agency's attorneys.

If you have been subpoened by a public defender attorney for a deposition, you need to report to the Public Defender Offices at 151 N. Delaware, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN, approximately 15 minutes prior to the time indicated. Bring a copy of your subpoena and check in with the receptionist.

If you are running late or something has prevented you from coming to your scheduled deposition, please call 327-2616 immediately so the scheduler can make the necessary adjustments to the schedule and contact the appropriate people of your situation.
