Reducing Juvenile Crime

Although juvenile crime is decreasing in Marion County and in Indiana as a whole, violent juvenile crime remains a problem in Marion County.  Juvenile crime not only makes our homes and communities unsafe, but also affects our children's ability to learn in school.

Juvenile crime is the result of complex social and economic problems in our community, and tough law enforcement is only part of the answer to this difficult problem.  Prosecutor Brizzi not only emphasizes tough penalties for violent juvenile lawbreakers, but also tries to break the cycle of violence in these children's lives.
