Brining Your Child to Work?

An apparent lack of child care didn't discourage an alleged drug dealer from plying his trade.  Tyrone Lee received a 15-year prison sentence for his guilty plea to dealing in cocaine.  Lee allegedly brought his six-month-old son along when he sold cocaine to an undercover police officer.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on Mar. 24, 2004, Lee, the officer and the baby went to 646 N. Eastern St.  Lee left the boy with the officer and went into the house to get the drugs.  The officer then drove Lee and the boy back to Lee's residence, 2627 E. North St.  There was a second transaction at Lee's house, Mar. 29.  The house is located within 1,000 feet of St. Phillip Neri School.
