In the last session of the General Assembly, Prosecutor Brizzi testified in favor of a bill which would have required the state to send updated copies of the state sex and violent offender directory to registered neighborhood associations.  "I believe our community has the right to know if a convicted child molester moves in next door," he said.  "We teach our children that our neighbors are our allies and people to whom they can turn in times of trouble.  However, if that neighbor is a pedophile, the message is different."
