Craine House Family Living Program

Craine House
Craine House

Craine House offers a unique residential program for qualified female offenders and their pre-school aged (ages 5 and under) children. John P. Craine House is located at 3535   N. Pennsylvania St.  We currently contract with the John P. Craine House for six (6) adult female beds and up to eight (8) beds for the children. Individuals placed in this program will be expected to obtain employment and suitable daycare for their children within thirty (30) days of admission to the program.

In-house counseling services will be provided in the areas of parenting and life skills training. Additional referrals to outside agencies for drug and alcohol and/or psychiatric counseling and educational services are also available.

Residents are required to pay the facility fifty percent (50%) of their net income per week (gross pay less mandatory tax deductions) up to a maximum of $175.00.

During their placement in the family living program, counselors will work with each resident to break the pattern of addictive/illegal behavior, improve parenting and interpersonal skills and attain economic self-sufficiency.
