Pre-Trial Home Detention

Pre-Trial Home Detention offers a defendant the opportunity to stay at home while their case is pending.  During this time they would receive strict supervision from the Community Corrections staff.  Field officers would make face-to-face and telephone checks on the participant both at home and their place of employment.  Officers would enter the defendant home to check on their compliance with the conditions of the program.

Placement on the program is done after the defendant has posted a bond.

Participants may be allowed to leave home for the purpose of employment, medical appointments, religious services, attorney appointments, court appearances, and any Court ordered activities.

All individuals placed on Pre-Trial Home Detention will be placed on electronic monitoring equipment.  As such they must have a stable residence and telephone equipment and service that is compatible with our electronic monitoring equipment.   In addition, they must reside within the local calling area (no long distance calling).

All participants are expected to remain drug and alcohol free while on the program and they will receive random drug and alcohol screens while on the program.

All participants will be assessed a $75.00 initial fee plus a $12.00 per day supervision fee during the term of their placement.
