Custodial Parents and Visitation
If a child is not returned to the custodial parent following visitation with the non-custodial parent, the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the non-custodial parent should be contacted.
Most law enforcement agencies will require a valid and certified copy of the most recent custody order to assist in resolving a dispute. The Clerk's Office can prepare and certify a copy at a nominal charge of $1 per copied page and an additional $1 certification fee per document.
