The following items are required in order to complete a Change of Venue:

  • A copy of the Change of Venue Order signed by the judge.
  • A check for the filing fee -- according to the following schedule -- which is appropriate for the type of case being transferred:
    • Standard civil cases: $137 per filing + $10 for each additional defendant other than the first named defendant
    • Mortgage Foreclosure cases: $187 + $10 for each additional defendant other than the first named defendant
    • Domestic Relations cases: $157 per filing
    • Adoptions, Termination of Parental Rights and Civil Plenaries: $137 per filing
    • Juvenile CHINS, Paternity, and Delinquent Children: $179 per filing
    • Other juvenile cases: $179 per filing
    • Estate, Guardianship, and Trust cases: $157 per filing
