Surviving Spouse of a World War I Veteran
If you are the surviving spouse of a veteran who served in the U.S. Armed Forces before November 12, 1918, you could qualify for this deduction. The deduction is either the amount of your assessment or $18,720, whichever is less. Any amount remaining could be applied to personal property, mobile home and excise tax.
