The Marion County Auditor is reminding all Marion County homeowners who have purchased or refinanced residences prior to March 1, 2005 to file for property tax deductions. The filing deadline is Tuesday, May 10, 2005.
If you are a new homeowner, filed a new deed, or re-financed your mortgage between March 2, 2004 and March 1, 2005 you may need to file for Homestead and Mortgage property tax deductions.
