Susie Day represents Council District #20, serving the residents of the southeast side of Indianapolis, including the city of Beech Grove.

Susie’s commitment to the community dates back to her years of service to the PTA, Little League Baseball, Booster Club and seven years on the Beech Grove City Council.

Susie servers as the Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Committee and is also a member of the  Administration and Finance, and  Community Affairs committees.

Susie is very committed to working with other officials to not only maintain the quality of life for the citizens of Indianapolis and Marion County, but is always looking for ways to improve services and programs while not raising taxes.  This is a difficult task in today’s economic climate, but she works toward these goals for her constituents and all of our citizens in the City and the County.  Susie campaigned on a promise of no new taxes, and her voting record speaks for itself.

Susie is currently employed at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

Susie and her husband, Harold, are the parents of three children, Casey, Kevin and Kim.  And have one granddaughter, Molly.
