Monday, September 3 is Labor Day
Curbside recycling and trash collection will operate on a slide schedule next week
Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Department of Public Works would like to remind residents that curbside recycling, residential and heavy trash collection will operate on a slide schedule next week in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
There will be no curbside recycling or trash collection on Monday, September 3; therefore, normal collection days will ‘slide’ to one day later if the resident’s normal collection day falls on or after the holiday. In this case, Monday’s service will be collected on Tuesday and so on. Friday’s service will be collected on Saturday.
Trash collection and curbside recycling services will return to its normal schedule on Monday, September 10.
