Wanted: Minority- and Women-Owned Business Participation

INDIANAPOLIS – Looking to increase minority- and women-owned business participation in local infrastructure projects, the Department of Public Works is hosting an event tomorrow to provide information about upcoming projects.

Held at the Madame C.J. Walker Building, this free quarterly breakfast is an opportunity for consultants and contractors to learn more about opportunities to bid on projects under the Mayor Bart Peterson's Clean Streams-Healthy Neighborhoods initiative. Networking opportunities are available before and after the official program begins at 8:30 a.m.

 Prime and minority- or women-owned contractors and consultants are invited to attend. 

 WHEN:           Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 7, 20007

                                 Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m.

                                 Program begins at 8:30 a.m.
