Curbside recycling and trash collection will operate on a slide schedule next week
HOLIDAY NOTICE: Thursday, November 22 is Thanksgiving Day Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Department of Public Works would like to remind residents that curbside recycling, leaf and residential and heavy trash collection will operate on a slide schedule next week in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
There will be no curbside recycling, leaf or trash collection on Thursday, November 22; therefore, normal collection days will ‘slide’ to one day later if the resident’s normal collection day falls on or after the holiday. In this case, Thursday’s routes will be collected on Friday and Friday’s routes will be collected on Saturday. Please note that normal collection will take place on Monday, November 26.
