Advisory: 17th Annual White River Clean-Up
Indianapolis – The 17th Annual White River Clean-up will get underway this Saturday, April 2 at 8:00 a.m.
This is a great event for residents to get involved and make a difference in their community. Volunteers should pre-register by visiting www.indygreenways.org or by calling (317) 327-7431. Registration will also be available the day of the event by coming to the staging area in the parking lot at 1735 South West Street.
All volunteers will be provided refreshments, lunch and a commemorative t-shirt. In addition, sponsor organizations will provide gloves, trash bags and pick up sticks.
Sponsors and organizers for the cleanup include Indy Parks Greenways, the City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works, the Greenways Foundation, United Water, and National Starch.
