New Sewer Connection Fee
On October 31, 2005, the City-County Council passed an ordinance establishing new sewer rates and a fee to connect to the sanitary sewer system. The rates and fee were effective January 1, 2006.
Sanitary sewer lateral connection permits will not be granted until after the Sanitary Sewer Lateral Connection Fee Calculation Worksheet is completed and submitted for review. Review of this worksheet may result in a delay of 1-5 business days for the issuance of the sanitary sewer lateral permit. All fees must be paid to the Department of Metropolitan Development, Division of Compliance prior to issuance of the permit. All other permitting fees and charges still apply.
