Q.     When were the new Standards adopted?
A.      At the July 12, 2006 Public Works Board Meeting.

Q.     When will the new Standards become effective?
A.      November 1, 2006. All permit applications received on or after November 1,
         2006 will be required to follow the new Standards.

Q.     Who was involved in the process of updating the Standards?
A.      Various interested and key stakeholder groups were involved with the
         development of the Standards. The groups included representatives of
         engineering firms, developers, contractors, utilities, and neighborhood and 
         environmental organizations.

Q.     Where can I get a copy of the new Standards?
A.      Copies can be downloaded from the DPW website at www.indygov.org/DPW .

Q.     Who can I contact if I have questions about the new Standards?
A.      Questions related to the status of a permit application or how a specific
         requirement impacts an individual application/site should be directed to the
         DMD project manager assigned to the case.
